Thor, thifty stuff and revisions

I love this little pink dove planter. I scored it at Savers a while back for about 3 bucks!
Cats do love windowsills, don't they?
And sheets. Every time I change the sheets, Thor is there immediately frolicking under them.
Back to the pottery- such uncommon colors, don't you think? I mean, for this type of handpainted Italian ceramics?
I love it. It now holds toothbrushes in my pink bathroom. Perfect.
Here are a couple of shots of my little statues when they lived in the bathroom:
Then we took them down to repaint:
Tee hee, I love how that looks with the rubber duckie.
A little bathroom vignette:
Just a smattering of goodies for show and tell.
Meanwhile, remember how I said I was all done with my design project ?
Yeah, well... revisions! So I have spent the whole weekend tweaking the designs. Soon I will really be done. And then there will be much rejoicing and blogging and eating of creme brulee.
And I am still hoping you'll have some suggestions on how to survive winter (request from my previous post.)

Surviving winter was hard for me when I lived up north among the snow...living in florida now makes it easier...
I loved it when I felt warm and comfortable in sweat pants and big comfortable slippers...I also had to always surround myself with bright colors...seem to help with the dingy days of snow and sleet stuff...I also always kept a nice supply of hot chocolate around..(with whip cream too)...made the days and night warm and cozy...I think the Yoga idea is great! The sauna sounds dreamy...I think you have to go with how you are feeling...soothing or lively music could also help.
Always have a good book or two handy.
Thanks for sharing the pics and all...loved it!
Peace--Ellie
You just inspired me somehow. I'm not sure how, I'm not sure I could put it into words. But all your colors and arrangement, and very simple pictures that are art in their own way...I feel good now.
Felicia- now I think of Slash when I make the bed and Thor comes a-runnin'! Crazy cats.
Wow, Caroline! You really know how to make a girl feel appreciated! Your comments mean so much. You reminded me of why I take the time to blog! Thank you.
