« thawing out | Main | mini cork boards! »

hey, subscribers. I've been wondering about you.

I have been thinking a lot about this here blog, and what I want to do with it. It is a great outlet and I really like the potential of it.   I am new at it all and a little shy about it, to be honest.

I want to know I know who my audience  is!
Would you kindly help a girl out?

Who are you?

What are your interests?

Do you  blog?  If so, leave your link!

How did you find me?

What made you choose to subscribe?

What would you like to see more of?

Is there anything you'd like to know about me?

Will you help me make this blog a conversation rather than a soliloquy?
I have never liked public speaking- I'd rather have a chat. (I checked the spelling of soliloquy and that is correct, believe it or not)

This cute elephant guy is Ganesh.  He is known as The Remover of Obstacles.

Tell me more about yourself.
Pretty please?

Hi, Melissa! I just ran into some of your artwork on Flickr and linked to your site. I haven't taken too, too long to look around, but I love your paintings over on Flickr! You have some great photos, too. I love discovering new artists and their blogs. Umm, to answer your questions, I'm a mixed media artist and stay at home mom who just this year started homeschooling my oldest son (in kindergarten). As I said, I discovered your site through Flickr, the Art & Artists group, I think. My current interests/obsessions are fabric art, art journaling, arts & crafts that revolve around the home and home life, jewelry making, and mixed media in general. I do have a blog, mentioned above, and I am with you about wanting to have a dialogue vs. monologue. It seems like the blogs I tend to keep up with the most are the ones where I've gotten to know the person blogging a bit. I'm not a very good lurker! I enjoyed poking around your flickr acct, so now I'll peek around on your site a bit ;-)

Hi there! I'm not sure where I ran across you blog. It may have been through etsy since I have a shop there too. I like to read blogs about people's lives and their crafting. My blog is an amalgam of these things about me. I think your blog should be what ever you want to share. Stop by and visit me at http://fluffyflowers.typepad.com/

This is my fourth comment on your blog in one day. I feel a bit pitiful, I'm just reading and reading and reading your blog and loving every moment of it. I just want to say that you should never worry if you're posting too much thrifted stuff, I noticed you apologize alot for it but it's so much fun to read and see and look and celebrate your finds (except for the hands bowl - I'm still smarting over that one). I want to see the 50 buck leather sofa, that has been on my list of treasure to find forever!
I love your finds and your blog! Thanks for sharing both.

Hey Selah! Thank you so much for loving my blog- it makes me feel so good! I so appreciate it when people take the time to comment- the more the better, no need to feel pitiful! I do the same thing!

Thank you for bringing it to my attention that I kind of apologize for showing my thrifted stuff- you are so right! I guess it's because when I started this thing, I wasn't intending for that to be such a big focus- but it has really turned into one of my main things! I am just gonna go with it! Thank you for the encouragement and appreciation.
