193: SQM 08

Just a quick lunch-time post of some Quilt Market pics.

The first thing I saw when I walked onto the floor of the market was huge wooden crates marked "Westminster Fibers." I didn't get a chance to get shots of those, but here is one that I saw that made me happy:

I love that they painted those offset polka-dots on it!

A corner of Valori Wells' booth:

I chatted with Valori for just a little bit -  she was adorable and sweet, as was Carolyn, the co-author of Life Style - Valori's newest book.

I love these:

It was so nice to finally meet you, my elfin friend. ;) I didn't even know you were still sick... so sorry to hear that. Hopefully at Houston you'll be healthy so you can enjoy it to the fullest. Great pictures of Valori's booth, BTW!

I loved meeting you in Portland and hope to get to know you better soon. Your designs are so lovely and going to be a huge hit in Houston I'm sure. I love your business "card." I'm gonna do something with my little screen printed piece of you as soon as I get some time. I'm so sorry you were feeling under the weather while in Oregon and hope you're back to your healthy vibrant self ASAP. Great pictures btw--thanks so much for sharing here on the blog. Hugs, Eva
