202: welcome, you!
Good morning and welcome to those of you stopping by from Anna Maria's post! If you want to read about Quilt Market from my perspective (which includes a heck of a lot of Anna), I piled them all up nicely for you here- just make sure you start at the bottom!
I hope you will stick around and hear about my adventures in designing my first line for Free Spirit Fabric, read about my meltdown (in a good way) when I got my first strikeoffs, and while you're here, you might as well leave a comment on my 200th post and have a shot at winning a bundle of goodness from Yummy Goods!
I'll be back to kick it later with my killer fabric score from last weekend.

Have a great day!
You prob'ly don't remember me, I am Valerie's sister. I remember meeting you at our house and having you for our annual Christmas day buffet and pop-gun party when you were a teenager.
I have retired and am having a blast with all the time I have to sew. Since my Mom passed away in 05 I have been working on many pieces of fabric from her 'stash'. Many of those pieces end up on our newest grandchild (and only girl)! Right now I am working on figuring out a little 'slip-dress' to go under a small crocheted dress that my grandmother made for me many (OK - LOTS) of years ago that is just her size right now! She was born 8 months after Mom passed and her name is Anna!
I was so pleased when Valerie passed your blog info on to me. It is so nice to know that sewing is not becoming a lost skill with the younger generations. I have viewed your preview and your fabrics are something I will look forward to. I have put you on my 'favorites' list.
I wish you much success in your endeavor.
Best regards,
