365: sugar snap sighting (plus news!)

I have an awesome fabric sighting to share:

A kind blog reader emailed me to let me know she saw some of my prints in this awesome magazine! (Thanks, Beata!)

I love this British mag, Living Etc. (Isn't it weird how similar the lettering is to Martha?)

I couldn't believe it---on the title page of the article, there is my wallpaper print in both colorways! (and some of Anna Maria Horner's fabric, too!)

Wallpaper in cocoa:

Wallpaper in plum:

Here is the bench in this stunning apartment where the fabrics live:

And then this couch in a sunroom---all in my lace print!

Lace in cocoa:

Wowee!! It is such a treat to see my fabrics in a publication like this!

I feel like I've kind of disappeared in the industry  since I haven't had a line out since Sugar Snap---a year and half ago. That's a really long time in fabric years!

Well, on that front, I have some news!

Are you ready?

I have changed fabric companies!

I'm now with Andover.

I am really excited and hope to have some new fabric out for fall. (That line that I designed and loved may see the light of day, after all!)

xo,

melissa

(back soon with some bronte-along stuff! I bought my own copy of the Jane Eyre dvd that I love so much!)

So cool! I planted a row of sugar snap seeds in your honor this week, in fact (they got the cushy bed where the tomatoes will ultimately reside 8 or so weeks from now). I'm on the lookout for sprouts...I'll keep you posted! Send all your good nitrogen fixation vibes my way - LOL!
