When I first started blogging at the beginning of 2007, I considered starting a design blog.

But after a few days of thinking about it (and obsessively scouring sites for new things that weren't already covered) I discovered that  the constant searching would take me over completely!

But I was so happy to have a chance to do some of those posts for Tara and I realized, hey, I can do those posts whenever I want to! I don't have to devote my whole blog to it or never do it--- I can do it sometimes! Moderation, friends!

So, in honor of my Key West vacation I was inspired to put together a little gallery or you:

And these were just so pretty and well-photographed. I don't wear long earrings with my short hair (something about it just feels weird to me. hoops ok, though!) but if I did- I would wear these!

So. I'm off to Key West! You know I will blog the heck out of it when I come home. I'm charging up the camera battery this very minute!

I can't wait to settle into my room at The Duvall Inn and then head out to Blue Heaven for some yummy vittles!

Other faves that I can't wait to visit: La Creperie, Besame Mucho, The Key West Butterfly and Nature Conservatory, and Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum!

I also plan on doing a lot of laying around and eating key lime pie. And a few margaritas will be consumed (extra salt, please) in celebration of my new fabric gig! (Thank you so much for all the love on that, by the way!)

It will be hard not to watch Jane Eyre every day while I'm away, but I will try to survive somehow. Myabe I can stuff the dvd in my bag without anyone noticing....
