400: omg, 400 posts! Giveaway!

It's my 400th-post-aversary!

I love blogging.

But you knew that, right?

I love this community. I love when I get to meet you in real life, which I do fairly often!

If you read my blog, then you pretty much know me. For real. I'm like this.

You've seen me through intense highs and lows. You've celebrated with me, you've comforted me,  cheered me on, understood me,  laughed with me, come on travels with me.

I may not know you yet, but you are my friend and I thank you for caring for me or being interested in what I post. We would totally be friends in real life if you came in to the shop regularly, or if we took yoga classes together, or met through a mutual friend.

We're friends already, I just haven't met you yet.

In appreciation, I offer you my 400th post giveaway!

If you are the randomly chosen winner, you will receive a copy of my book Small Stash Sewing!

And some of my first fabric line Sugar Snap!

I know, it's hard to find these days. But you know who carries some?

The sweet Jen from Runner Girl Fabric, who was kind enough to provide four half-yard cuts to celebrate my 400th post!

Check out her shop, won't you?

So in addition to my book, you will receive a half yard of Lace:

And Jellyfruit:

And Kimono:

And Wallpaper:

Pretty good, right?

To enter, just go ahead and leave a comment on this post and tell me what you'd like to see more of from me here on the blog, or how long you've been reading it, or something like that.

I'll leave it up to you, but tell me something, ok?

Also, it would make me all happy on the inside if you join me on ye olde facebook page!

A winner will be drawn on Tuesday, July 6, the day after my birthday!

........................................

I have a ton of bloggin' to do, you guys!

I still have to finish Quilt Market recap, London recap, blog the art reception, sneak peak my new line with Andover (it's a GO!), and we are woefully behind on the Bronte-Along.

Back soon with some hot bloggy action, fiends.

Meanwhile:

xo,

melissa

P.S. Go make something ridiculous and awesome with the Keep-Calm-O-Matic.

UPDATED 7/9 to say this giveaway is now CLOSED, yo! Thank you so much to all those who left lovely comments!

The lucky winner is Renee, who said:

I discovered your blog about a year ago and have throughly enjoyed it. If I'm ever in the area I would love to check out the shop. It's a long way from Georgia but maybe one day. Congrats on the book, the new line, and #400! What a great reason for a giveaway!

Yay! Email me your address (melissa@yummygoods.com) and I will send you my book and some of my Sugar Snap fabric!

I have been reading your blog now for only a few months and I love it!. I enjoy reading and seeing the ideas that you and your creativity.
Flattery can get you everywhere, but I do like the book. I am having trouble finding it in craft stores to buy.

Me, me, me! I love your style and aesthetic, and I'm new to Yummy Goods, so am pleased to see your art, projects from your book (would like to see more of those ... perhaps done by readers?) ... and interested to hear more about your travels. And I do have joined Yummy Goods on FB already ;-)

Oh, I don't know...I've probably been reading the blog for over a year at least. :)

I only wish I lived closer to the cape or had family near there so I could come and see the shop! Although, anytime anyone tells me they are going to cape cod, I give them your shop info and say, "Make sure you go there!" hehe.

Maybe someday I will get back that far north...for now though, I do enjoy my FL sun!

Happy 400th post! And here's to more omglondon recaps with lots of hotbrittishguy pictures!!! :)

I love seeing the displays and goodies in your shop. I think I could spend my children's college money in there.

I've been reading your blog since at least the time Sugar Snap came out. I am still hoarding the last of my scraps of it & how I'd love some replenishment!
I always like your photos-especially the rust! It has really made me see some beauty in it, although I haven't seen a rusted out car yet that has looked too attractive!

Congrats on the 400th post! Your book looks so great, I would love to win. As for what I would like to see more of: tutorials would be fun. And, of course, unicorns.

I love your blog! I've only been reading for a few months. I would love to see more behind the scenes of how design your fabric, what's the process, and also how did you get your own fabric line?

I've only been reading your blog for about a month, but I'm in love with it. I keep dropping by for pick-me-ups when I need a brain break. And we wouldn't be friends if I was in your yoga class--I'm the girl with no balancing skills who keeps foot-stomping so she doesn't fall over and who makes everyone else loose their focus and think "Grrrrr" thoughts. But OTHERwise, I think we'd be good times, lol.
